What is Chickie Doo?

Let’s chat with Haley and Alexa my daughters who are 10 and 12 years old tell us about their new startup business!  The Adventures of Chickie Doo!

Podcast notes:

Everything is not going to work out.  Business is not easy just because you are working for yourself.  You will invest in a lot of time.  Don’t get caught up in the weeds.

Your time and skill is more valuable than doing the day to day work.  You have to make sure you have enough money to reinvest back into your business.  Concentrate on the macro not the micro.  Where are we going next month, 6 months, even a year.

I am not going to bail them out.  I might buy it back from them, make it profitable and then sell it back to them.  Why would you subject yourself to all this pressure and chaos?   You do it because you care, because you have a product that you believe in.

The good news is that a lot of us will succeed.  If you are selling a product that people want or need, then it is about your strategy.

They may be a little scared because they are worried that they may not sell enough.

Your phone is a tool.  It is the most important tool because it links to your website, your social media pages and contacting the business.

Alexa says they are going to start with selling t-shirts and pop sockets.

Thank you for listening!
